There's a tasty — and scientific — event coming to the Durham Performing Arts Center. Food Network star Alton Brown takes DPAC's stage on Friday, April 15 at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. to present “Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science” — and we're giving away four tickets to the 5:30 p.m. show.

In this follow-up to Brown's “Edible Inevitable” tour, fans will enjoy more comedy, talk show antics, multimedia presentations and music. Brown is also adding a slew of fresh ingredients such as new puppets, songs and bigger — and potentially more dangerous — experiments to this two-hour performance.

You may end up on stage with Brown, since he invites an audience member up to serve as his assistant. He also says he will "play a little game with the audience.”

Order tickets or enter to win four tickets by voting for our 2016 Readers' Favorites! Fill out 15 or more of our Readers' Favorites categories to be eligible. We'll announce a winner Wednesday, March 16 at noon. Good luck!

March 16 update: Congratulations to our winner, Tyler Brown of Wake Forest! Thanks to all who participated and be sure to check out our newest contest on our Contest page.
