Welcome the early days of summer at these local blueberry farms in the Triangle area. Picking blueberries is not only a fun outing for the whole family, but blueberries are also good for you, with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Before you head out, call ahead to be sure the blueberry farm you’d like to visit is open for the season, as opening times often vary according to weather and when the fruit is ripe. Hours may also vary due to produce availability.
