Where to Get Free Halloween Treat Bags in the Triangle
For those that want to make candy acquisition a little simpler this year
If you’re thinking door-to-door is a bit too risky this year, many businesses across the Triangle are offering free treat bags. Below, we’ve listed a few of those spots:
Boo! on the Go at Wake County Library Branches
Several library locations are offering a “bag of spooky surprises” for children in the region. All of the times and details of the drive-through event are at the link above.
Carolina Brewery & Grill
120 Lowes Dr #100, Pittsboro
All week, the brewery invites costumed kiddos to come grab a Halloween treat bag. The offering runs through Oct. 31, with hours available on their website.
Chuck E. Cheese’s
For kids who visit in costume, you can get a free treat bag at these entertainment emporiums. “The treat bag includes a rechargeable play band, Chuck E. Cheese sticker sheet, Halloween stickers, candies, a spider ring and special offers on Halloween movie rentals at home from Warner Bros.” The promotion runs all month long.
Trick or Treat, Stay 6 Feet at Holton Career & Resource Center
401 N Driver St. Durham
Durham Parks & Recreation is hosting this drive-up event on Oct. 30. It’s free, but you have to sign up for one of four time slots to get the goodies.
Trunk or Treat Trail at Lions Park Community Center
516 Dennis Ave., Raleigh
“Dress the kids up and bring them by to see the creatively decorated trunks displayed by City Staff as well as local community businesses and programs!” the city says. At the end of the trunk parade, each kid gets a free bag of candy. See more of the city’s offerings at the link.
Goodies for Goblins Wake Forest
Look out for the “Goodies for Goblins” pumpkin on the windows or doors of participating stores and restaurants in downtown Wake Forest. It all goes down on Oct. 31. Times found at the link above.
