Residents will soon be able to spend more time at several Wake County Public Libraries branches. As of Sept. 1, Middle Creek, Leesville, Holly Springs and Cary community libraries will be open from 1-5 p.m. on Sundays.

This means more time to browse the Wake County Public catalog, find your new favorite book or attend a fun program.

The new hours are as follows:

  • 9 a.m.-9 p.m.          Monday through Thursday
  • 10 a.m.-6 p.m.        Friday
  • 10 a.m.-6 p.m.        Saturday
  • 1-5 p.m.                  Sunday

The Wake County Board of Commissioners approved the expanded hours in its fiscal year 2019 budget as recommended by the Wake County Library Commission. A list of all WCPL locations and hours is available here.
