Support March of Dimes by marching for babies
March of Dimes supports research to prevent birth defects and premature births, and programs to educate moms about how to reduce their risks and get the services they need to have a healthy baby. Money raised also funds programs that improve the quality of care and bring hope to parents with babies in newborn intensive care. Since 1970, the March of Dimes has raised $2 billion to help babies begin healthy lives.
One way you can support the organization is to raise money by walking in one of its March for Babies events. Several March for Babies walks across the Triad are scheduled for 2013. Walks will take place in Winston-Salem on April 20, Greensboro on April 27, Burlington on May 4, Mount Airy on May 11 and High Point on Nov. 9.
