See Exquisite Gingerbread Houses, Santa at Dec. 1 Benefit
Lovers of gingerbread houses, fairy tale princesses and kids who like to visit with Santa will be gathering at the 14th Annual Gingerbread Benefit, Thursday, Dec. 1, at The Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham.
The fundraiser, 11:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m., showcases gingerbread masterpieces from many of the Triangle’s well-known chefs and bakers and invites the local community to enjoy holiday music, savor treats and vote for their favorite house. Children can also enjoy tea and story time with Santa, and adults can attend the silent auction evening benefit. All proceeds from these three events support Triangle Family Services, which provides services to empower families physically, mentally and financially.
