Products Made In Asheville Cater to Summer Skin
If your dry, sunburned summer skin is ready for some pampering, there is a line of products made in Asheville that smells good enough to eat. One can only imagine the mouthwatering smell of such names as Thai Lemongrass or Grapefruit Splash lotions or Lavender Morning and Mango Papaya Sunset soaps.
The line is called Essential Journeys, and creator Kimberly Masters makes her products using natural ingredients such as aloe vera and vitamin E, as well as a blend of essential oils and fragrances that “moisturize and nourish the skin without the use of animal products or harsh chemicals,” according to the company. “We do not test on animals. However, our dog soap has been tested on humans.” They lived.
We love a company with a sense of humor. (And, yes, they make soap for dogs.) Essential Journeys also makes soy candles, bath salts and more. Visit www.essentialjourneys.com. The products are also sold in some retail stores, and you can check for one near you on the website.
