Immaculata Catholic School
Established in 1909, Immaculata has earned national Blue and Green Ribbons and became the first middle school program in NC to hold AdvancED STEM Certification. With more than 500 students in PreK-Grade 8, the school’s challenging curriculum is supported by enrichment and resource programs, fulltime instructional assistants, and highly-qualified teachers who are trained to differentiate instruction to students’ abilities and learning styles. Character development and faith formation are woven into the curriculum to guide students to value personal responsibility, empathy, and kindness. The school’s campus is steps from Duke University and the heart of downtown Durham, creating impactful community partnerships.
