Ipreo Ice Skating Rink in Raleigh Offers BOGO and Free Deals

Now that winter has settled in for a stay, why not celebrate the season with winter sports? The Ipreo Ice Rink in downtown Raleigh is open through Jan. 31, offering various deals for skaters depending on the day. Admission is regularly $10, including skate rental for both children (all ages are welcome) and adults, but check out these special offers, from free kids mini skating lessons to deals if you skate with a stroller!

  • “Two for Tuesdays” specials on most Tuesday evenings lets skaters buy one pass and get one free.
  • “College Night” on Wednesdays is open to students who can show a valid college I.D. to receive $2 off the price of admission.
  • Show your Carolina Hurricanes pride on Thursdays by wearing Hurricanes logo wear to receive $2 off the price of admission. On Thursday, Jan. 14, 10 a.m.-noon, the rink will allow strollers on the ice for a one-morning-only special that will cost $12 total for both the baby in the stroller and the adult skater. 
  • On most Fridays, a DJ from Vox DJ Company will be spinning '80s and '90s tunes as well as current favorites.
  • This Saturday, Jan. 9, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. (weather-permitting), two coaches will be at the rink to offer free “mini” lessons with the kids from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Each lesson will last about 15 minutes long.
