Host an international exchange student through Education, Travel and Culture

Education, Travel and Culture, a small nonprofit organization that places international exchange students with host families for the school year, has recently expanded its area of service to include the Piedmont. The organization is currently seeking host families.

The assistant field manager for the organization, Tara Rusiewicz, says Hosting takes the concepts of [foreign] language class, world studies or geography out of the textbook and brings them to life. Hosting introduces your children at an early age to the culture and diversity of another country. Whether talking at the dinner table, shooting hoops or just spending time with your exchange student, your children will absorb lasting memories that will influence the way they perceive the world.
