Healthy Family Restaurants in the Triangle
The typical kids menu of french fries and chicken nuggets presents a major hurdle to influencing kids to eat healthily, says registered dietician Sheree Vodicka of Raleigh. Jump over that hurdle by avoiding the kids menu and share an adult plate with your child, or choose a restaurant known for its healthy menu.
“In any restaurant you go into, you could order something healthy, but it’s a matter of choices you make,” Vodicka says.
Try these popular Triangle restaurants, as well as a few nontraditional dining options, known for offering healthy, delicious entrees the entire family can enjoy.
