Greek Yogurt Ice Cream
Make this nutritious, cold treat from Triangle Nutrition Therapy's Ashley Acornley for a hot summer's day.
1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk (you can use regular cow's milk too)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
2 cups plain of vanilla greek yogurt
2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter
2 tablespoons of mini dark chocolate chips or other toppings, like nuts or berries
Mix all ingredients together in a blender. Mix in any additional toppings like chocolate chips, nuts or fruit. Place in a large Tupperware container and freeze for two hours or more before serving.
