Get Holiday-Ready Hair From Raleigh’s Blow Dry Bars
Got a holiday party coming up or hosting company coming to town? Save some time during the busiest season of the year with a blowout from one of Raleigh’s new blow dry bars: Blown Away Raleigh and Parlor Blow Dry Bar.
New to the blow dry bar arena? It includes everything a trip to the salon would get you — with the exception of a cut and color. So you’ll get the relaxing shampoo, the professional blow dry and style that can last for several days with the right care.
There are several looks to choose from for all hair lengths at both dry bars: straightened locks, beachy waves, curls, volume-enhancing ‘dos and even a “Signature Blowout” from Parlor Blow Dry Bar that Duchess Kate approved! Looking for a bit more? These dry bars also offer updos, topknots, braids of all types, head and neck massages and styling options for guys. Got a mini-me? Blown Away Raleigh offers the “Shirley Temple” for girls ages 10 and under for $20, and Parlor Blow Dry Bar offers the “Mademoiselle” for girls ages 12 and under for $25 (bottom right photo of the “Mademoiselle” courtesy of Parlor Blow Dry Bar). Parlor Blow Dry Bar can even hook you up with makeup application, eyelash extension and threading (hair removal) at its Beauty Bar. Both blow dry bars offer a complimentary cocktail with every style.
Both blow dry bars offer money-saving packages and memberships for frequent customers, but even one-time service only runs $35 at both Blown Away Raleigh and Parlor Blow Dry Bar, which is a deal in itself.
Blown Away Raleigh at the North Hills shopping center offers monthly specials that change each month. For December, the blow dry bar is offering $25 blowouts on select Tuesdays. Also, during December it has discounted all mini-products (now $6, usually $8-$12), which make great stocking stuffers.

Parlor Blow Dry Bar in Cameron Village also offers stocking stuffers starting at $8 and it also hosts flash sales via social media (Instagram is @parlorblowdrybar and Facebook is Parlor Blow Dry Bar). And, just for Carolina Parent readers, Parlor is offering 10 percent off for your first visit, valid Monday-Thursday, with the mention of this blog post! This offer lasts through February 2015. This is a great mommy-daughter date or just for a great pick-me-up for us tired moms!
