Durham Parks and Rec to Host Free Drive-In Films at Memorial Stadium

Partnering with Durham County Memorial Stadium, Durham Parks and Recreation is hosting a free drive-in movie series called “Bull City Reels on Wheels.” The first screening at 750 Stadium Dr. arrives on Aug. 29, and it will happen once a month through December.

Gates open an hour before the show, and placement works on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will be a food truck area near the show, and visitors must wear masks when visiting the trucks. Times will vary, according to the month, but this is the schedule sent from Durham Parks and Rec:

You have to register at the links above in order to participate. “Participants can bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages or support the Durham economy by purchasing refreshments from the food truck area on-site.
