Drive-In Laser Light Show Arriving at N.C. Fairgrounds in March
The Laser Floyd Spectacular also happening
A traveling laser light show arrives in the Triangle next week. Cabin Fever’s Drive-In Laser Light Show is held at N.C. Fairgrounds (4285 Trinity Rd., Raleigh) between March 11-14. The lights and other effects correspond with pop and rock tunes from the 1980s and ’90s. In addition, March 12-13 also feature events that focus on the music of Pink Floyd, titled The Laser Floyd Spectacular, with dual-screen video projections, lasers and effects, and tunes from their entire catalog.
For Cabin Fever’s Drive-In Laser Light Show, tickets run $29 per carload for general admission, $55 for VIP, which guarantees a seat between the 2-8 rows, and $99 for a front row spot. Those shows run 40 minutes and take place at 7 p.m. (gates open at 5 p.m.) and 9 p.m. (gates open at 8 p.m.) each night. For The Laser Floyd Spectacular, the displays begin at 10:30 p.m. and run $50 per carload. (For $99 at Laser Floyd, you get a spot between 1-3 rows.)
