Dino Safari Roars into Raleigh
Drive-thru dinosaur adventure
We had a chance to sit down with the producer of Dino Safari, Tom Zaller, and get the inside scoop on what makes this larger than life drive-thru dinosaur experience roar. “It’s a perfect thing [to do] during these times,” says Zaller. We couldn’t agree more. A 40-minute excursion through pre-historic times, and all from the safety of your vehicle. Like real life, these dinos won’t be here forever, so buy your tickets, watch the intro video, and keep reading this article to find out about the colossal adventure you can have from February 18 thru March 7 at the NC State Fairgrounds.
You’ll get to see 40 giant moving dinosaurs, but we had to ask Zaller, which one(s) are his favorites? Zaller quickly replied, “That’s like [who] is your favorite child?” Clearly, he is a fan of all the dinos. However, Zaller admits that he loves how the T-Rex and the Spinosaurus set the mood of the experience as you enter the NC State Fairgrounds. You’ll spot them at the entrance when you pick up your “survival pack” that includes a scavenger hunt, among other interactive items. Speaking of interactive, you’ll also have an accompanying audio guide that you can play through your phone or car’s Bluetooth system. The audio guide will help your family traverse this “land before time”, and perhaps help save a baby dinosaur.
We hope you have a roarin’ good time on your safe and fun family outing!
