“They Wore What?!” at Historic Yates Mill County Park in Raleigh

Though milling processes haven’t changed that much since the mill at Historic Yates Mill County Park was built in the 1760s, the way people dress sure has. Stop by Historic Yates Mill County Park to make your own fashion timeline, try on some Colonial clothes, explore the park’s historic costume collection, and play a round or two of “They Wore What?!” as part of the park’s “A Side of History” series. The program is suitable for ages 8 years and older and takes place 6-7 p.m., Thursday, April 27, at Historic Yates Mill County Park in Raleigh. Registration ($1 per person) is required.
