Celebrate the Holidays with Parades!
I love a parade! Who doesn’t? The heart-thumping rhythm of the percussion sections of the high school bands, the rosy red cheeks of the boy scouts and dance troops and the excitement of the fire trucks from our volunteer fire departments all create a great atmosphere and herald the coming holiday season. After all, the main point of the parade is to bring Santa into town, right?
This weekend marks the beginning of parade season in our area, with five parades over the course of the weekend.
Burlington, 10 a.m.
Mocksville: 2 p.m.
Thomasville, 3 p.m.
Reidsville, 4 p.m.
High Point, 3 p.m.
It looks like the weather will be fine for everyone on Saturday, but the High Point parade is rain or shine, and forecasts call for an 80% chance of rain. So pull out that raincoat and umbrella and get ready for some action!
