Celebrate American Indian History and Culture in Raleigh

The American Indian Heritage Celebration takes place Nov. 17, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., at the N.C. Museum of History in Raleigh. Spend the day enjoying hands-on activities, crafts, dance and music performances, storytelling, workshops and more. See traditional and contemporary artists at work and taste traditional foods. Learn about North Carolina’s American Indian population and hear a roll call of state-recognized tribes and organizations at noon. Admission is free.
