Fear not, Triangle: there are still ways to get your favorite burgers during mandated restaurant service limits. I know that I have had more cravings for comfort food lately and there’s no reason to feel deprived with such great options available to you. Check out this quick list of best bets from around our area open for curbside pickup.

Abbey Road Tavern and Grill

You can definitely see the theme of this locally-owned gem in its burger menu: The Egg Man, John, Paul, George, Ringo, Lucy, Yoko and Sgt. Pepper are just some of your choices. I am planning on trying the Pig Out with pork barbecue, bacon, barbecue sauce, onion straws and Vermont white cheddar on my next cheat day. Call in your order for curbside pickup or use Doordash for delivery. Apex, Cary, Fuquay-Varina

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar

I am an absolute sucker for any burger with onion straws and barbecue sauce, so I order the Western Burger every time my family eats here. My husband and kids have enjoyed the Magic Mushroom Burger and the Bistro Burger–the chipotle avocado crema on this one is really something special! Of course the create your own option is popular too, with 12 patty choices, 10 cheeses and 36 toppings to combine, you have a lot of room for creativity. Order online and don’t forget those fried pickles! Pick up or delivery options are available. Morrisville/Cary, Raleigh

Bull City Burger and Brewery

This fun joint prides itself on making “everything but the ketchup” in-house. I have always been curious about their Secret Burger but haven’t had the guts to order it. I stick with the Green Monster or build my own with goat cheese, beef chili and caramelized onions. Folks who “do” keto even have a couple of options here! Order online or call in. 107 East Parrish St. Durham 919.680.2333

Town Hall Burger and Beer

THB&B's Patty Melt is definitely a must-try, but the Mac & Cheese Burger (pictured) is really fun to watch someone eat–it’s as big as it is delicious. If you have any non-red meat eaters in the family, the Coconut Style Fried Chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun is a great option. Order online for curbside pickup at any location. Chapel Hill, Durham, Holly Springs
