The Mother's Day special at this Raleigh staple is the Brisket & Gravy Meal, which comes with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. The whole meal is $42 and feeds 3-4 people. You have to order by noon on Thursday, May 7. Customers pick up the dinner on Saturday.
The Root Cellar
The Mother's Day Brunch here, at $65, includes a puff pastry bake with eggs, kale, and parmesan, pearl sugar waffles with berry compote, roasted potato hash, fruit salad, and chocolate croissants. You can also add on crab cakes, sangria, or a bloody mary mix. You have to order by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6. Customers pick up the dinner on Saturday.

Stir has both brunch and dinner options for Sunday. (Meals serve five and have sides. They've also "added a special dessert just for Mom: one serving of matcha green tea cheesecake with whipped cream and macerated berries.") Brunch options ($50-$60): biscuits and sausage gravy, Stir It Up Frittata, or chicken and waffles. Dinner options ($80-$110): grilled salmon with dill yogurt sauce, grilled chicken breast with herb beurre blanc, or roasted beef tenderloin with bordelaise sauce. You have to order by 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7. Customers pick up the dinner on Mother’s Day.
