An innovative marriage of warm socks and chic tights, Bootights keep your tootsies toasty with built-in socks without the added bulk of layering socks over your tights. Brilliant! The tights come in an array of knits and the socks hit different heights depending on your footwear of choice: anklet for booties and mid-calf for knee-high boots. $30-$40, bootights.com.
For the romantic, a sweater that says it all! The metallic Lurex yarn gives the sweater a gilded glow and the “love” script makes this pullover the perfect declaration of affection all year round. $34.99, kohls.com (no longer available).
This simple knit sweater from Anne Klein gets a modern update with zipper details at the shoulders. And what a fabulous color! Perfect for pairing with dark denim or with a pencil skirt for a workweek look. $53, lordandtaylor.com (no longer available; similar).
The combination of pastel and neon give these traditional shaped earrings a fresh and fun update. $5.80, forever21.com (no longer available).
My favorite new fiber mascara, Voluminous Butterfly Mascara, has an asymmetrical lash line brush shape that extends and lifts outer corner lashes to gives a winged-out effect with lashes that absolutely flutter. Bonus points for no flaking and easily removed with face wash. $9, lorealparisusa.com.
Finally, an on-trend maternity blouse! Gingham made a big splash this past spring and summer and it was nice to see it being offered for mamas-to-be. $25, hm.com (no longer available).
There’s something so Southern about a crisp white blouse, and the bow on this flattering wrap blouse is just the icing on the cake! $68, cwonder.com (no longer available).
The one that got away! I so wish I would have picked up this tortoise chain link necklace from baublebar. Sad to say, it is no longer available. baublebar.com, $42 (no longer available; similar).
Beauty that gives back! For each purchase of the Evelyn Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley Dream Pink Collection (includes lipstick, two nail lacquers and a pink foldover clutch), Estée Lauder? will donate 20 percent of the suggested retail price to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. esteelauder.com, $29.50.
These tassel earrings didn’t quite make it under my Christmas tree, but I might just make the splurge with the help of a 20 percent off sale now through Dec. 31! lisilerch.com, $98.
Malachite, geodes and agate were big players this year in home decor and these soap rocks are a fun and quirky way to get in on the trend in an unexpected place — the sink! tspink.com, $15 (spotted locally at Cedar Creek Gallery).
