Book Tour brings Jenna Bush to Raleigh
First daughter and newly published author Jenna Bush visits Raleigh to promote her book, Ana's Story: A Journey of Hope. Bush will speak Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at Meredith College's Jones Auditorium.Her book tells the story of a young, single mother living with HIV whom Bush met while interning with UNICEF.

Fall Foliage Up Close
If you're looking for an autumn hike that's just a drive away, head to Pilot Mountain State Park for great views and family fun. Just 24 miles north of Winston-Salem and about two hours from the Triangle, the mountain, a geologic marvel comprised of quartzite monadnock, is 2,421 feet above sea level and rises 1,400 feet above the surrounding countryside.

Explore a wide array of exhibitors, including residential camps, local day camps, academic summer programs, athletic summer programs, teen adventure programs, fine art programs and more. Parents can also visit with representatives from public and private schools and a wide variety of educational resources. We are proud to have the YMCA of the Triangle as the Camp & Education Fair sponsor again this year. The 2008 Camp & Education Fair will be held on February 10th at Saint Mary's School in Raleigh, NC.
