When I was a child, my parents took us from our home in West Virginia to my aunt and uncle's Horse Farm in Milford, Delaware every spring and summer. A six-hour car ride we loved and looked forward to every year. We went not only to visit family, but to see the foals and their mommies they were raising to race at the sulky tracks along the northeastern seaboard.
