WORLDLY MAGICIAN TO PERFORM AMAZING FEATS AT THE MUSEUM OF LIFE AND SCIENCE
Joshua Lozoff, world renowned magician and former actor for the hit TV series Cheers will inspire and entertain Museum of Life and Science visitors with his mesmerizing magic on Oct. 24 as part of Spooky Saturday. Lozoff will perform a strolling magic show to give visitors an up-close personal experience and a one-hour intuitive, mental themed stage performance.
"I'm fascinated by the many ways humans connect with each other, and I love exploring this connection through magic," says Lozoff.
Lozoff's passion for magic began over a decade ago with a chance encounter with a street magician. His thrilling performances have captivated audiences across the globe from the World Fair in Japan to the poverty stricken streets of Guatemala City. His acclaimed performances have earned him the title as one of the top close-up magicians working today.
In addition to Lozoff’s performance, the Museum has several other activities planned for the Spooky Saturday event.
“Guests can meet a tarantula, and some of her other invertebrate friends up close, create masks and learn the science, history and cultural significance of this fascinating artistry and discover how to use simple kitchen ingredients to create hidden messages,” says Nancy Dragotta-Muhl, of the Museum.
Guest mad scientists, members of the RTP Professionals Branch of Alpha Chi Sigma Professional Chemistry Fraternity plan to wow visitors with engaging lab experiments. Halloween Village, a delightful and engaging exhibit with a number of moving parts and a train will also be on display at the Museum from Oct. 14 through November 1.

Event Hours: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., the Museum closes at 5 p.m.
Cost: Activities are free with Museum admission. $12.50 for adults; $10.50 for seniors 65 and older and active military with an ID; $9.50 for children 3 - 12 and free for under 3.
