North Carolina-based Headbands of Hope and Bobble joined forces at Duke Children’s Hospital May 16 to help girls battling cancer create headbands that improve their outlook on inner and outer beauty after losing their hair to chemotherapy.
Duke’s patients experienced the brands’ shared promises to inspire young people to be true to themselves and to enjoy every moment by creating these unique headbands. Headbands for girls and buffs for boys are also sold online at headbandsofhope.com. For every headband purchased, one is given to a child receiving cancer treatment.
