Experts have predicted that fall 2015 will be one of the Triangle's most beautiful in years. It's the perfect time of year for scenic Sunday drives and long walks through the woods. But why not look at the fall colors from a new perspective — while soaring above, up high in the treetops!
Go Ape! at Blue Jay Point County Park, 30 minutes north of downtown Raleigh at 3200 Pleasant Union Church Road, offers fun and challenging rope ladders and obstacles, as well as five different zip lines that link from tree to tree, so you can soar like a bird across the treetops.
Challenge yourself by zipping 516 feet across the course's longest zip wire. The highest point on the course is 41 feet, and the longest crossing is 56 feet. There are a total of 42 crossings.
Carolina Parent has two tickets to Go Ape! up for grabs.
