Summer Recipe: Blueberry Cobbler
Blueberry Cobbler 6 tablespoons butter 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon almond extract 2 cups fruit (fresh blueberries or blueberry/strawberry mix) Cut up butter and melt in the bottom of an 8”x8” baking dish. In a bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Slowly stir milk and almond extract into the dry ingredients until just mixed. Pour batter over the melted butter. Pour fruit on top, spreading across the pan evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.
