Children enrolled at 10 local Primrose Schools, as well as students at Sanderson High School in Raleigh, gave back to their community by donating thousands of food products to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina in December. Through Primrose Schools’ Caring and Giving program, part of the ABC11’s annual Heart of Carolina Food Drive, families donated more than 6,000 nonperishable food products to the food bank. During its drive in November, the Sanderson High School community contributed more than 244,000 pounds of food to the food bank. Learn more at foodbankcenc.org.
