N.C. Commission Targets Underage Drinking Statewide
The North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission recently launched a statewide effort targeting underage drinking in North Carolina.
The new campaign, Talk It Out, targets broadcast, web and social media platforms to give parents the right tools for talking to kids about the dangers of underage drinking. Recent research conducted by the commission discovered that the average age children in North Carolina take their first drink is 13.9 and that children think underage drinking is a much bigger problem than their parents believe.
