This weekend brings three solid days of festivals and shows to the Triangle. The only hard part will be deciding what to do and when!

Artsplosure — The Raleigh Arts Festival in Downtown Raleigh FREE

This year Artsplosure, now in its 38th year, will present its always-impressive weekend line-up of visual and performing artists exclusively along Fayetteville Street downtown. The festival will be anchored at the northern end by its Main Stage, featuring live music every evening, and also includes a juried Art Market, multiple interactive art installations, a food truck rodeo area on Hargett Street and Kidsplosure in the newly renovated Market and Exchange plazas. The fun takes place 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Friday, May 19; 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m., Saturday, May 20; and 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday, May 21, along Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. The Art Market will be open from 10-11 a.m. Sunday specifically for patrons with accessibility needs. Admission is free.

Got to Be NC Festival at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh FREE

The Got to Be NC Festival celebrates our state’s agricultural industry and more with three days of “down-home celebration, North Carolina-style”! The festival features carnival rides, agricultural stands with farm animals and local food vendors, entertainment including sand sculptors and live music, contests and more. The festival is open noon-10 p.m., Friday, May 19; 9 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday, May 20; and 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Sunday, May 21, at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. Enjoy fireworks Friday and Saturday nights at 9:15. Gate admission and parking are free. Free shuttles run from Carter-Finley Stadium, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and noon-7 p.m. Sunday.

Wings Over Wayne County Air Show at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro

Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the 4th Fighter Wing and military aviation in North Carolina, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is again hosting the Wings Over Wayne County Air Show. Headlining the air show will be The Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s premier aerial demonstration team, performing precise formations and maneuvers in six blue-and-yellow F/A-18 Hornet aircraft. The event includes a 20,000 square feet Kids’ Zone. The show runs 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, May 20, and repeats Sunday, May 21, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro. Admission is $5 and includes more than 15 attractions, among them the Blue Angel Aircraft Carrier Slide, a 36-foot Turbo Shuttle Slide, Space Camp Combo, Adventures in Aviation, Extreme Air Power Jump, the 52-foot Obstacle Course and more.

Fest in the West in Cary FREE

Celebrate the growing community of western Cary with local artisans, brewers, food trucks, live bands and even an antique tractor at Fest in the West. Cheer on competitors in the blueberry pie-eating and “Hillbilly Horseshoes” competitions. The KidZone will include a bounce house, face painting, an interactive Little Farm, a street magician and make-and-take crafts. The event runs noon-6 p.m., Saturday, May 20, at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary. Admission is free.

The festival takes place noon-8 p.m., Saturday, May 20, at Rock Quarry Park in Durham. Admission and parking at the adjacent Durham County Stadium lot are free.
