Fit Family Challenge: Meet Our Spotlight Families
In April, Carolina Parent kicks off its 2014 Fit Family Challenge, sponsored by Coca-Cola. This healthy family lifestyle program, which you can register for now, takes place April 15-June 9, 2014, and connects you to free fitness classes, local events and expert advice. During the challenge, famlies set goals, keep track of healthy habits online and log weekly minutes of activities to win prizes. One family will win a grand prize family vacation to Universal Orlando® Resort at the end of the challenge!
You'll read posts here from a range of healthy lifestyle experts and get to know two Triangle families participating in the Fit Family Challenge: the Hudsons of Durham (pictured at left below) and The Armstrongs of Cary (pictured at right below). We'll follow their progress as they work with a dietician, personal trainer and motivational coach during eight weeks of life-changing activities, and they'll post their own stories here for you to read. Find more information on our FAQs page.
