Does Dairy Reduce Asthma Incidence?
A high intake of cheese during pregnancy appears to significantly reduce the risk of infantile asthma, while consuming yogurt and calcium during pregnancy seemed to reduce the incidence of infantile atopic eczema. Asthma is the most common chronic condition among children, with nearly 5 million of those who suffer from it under age 18. The study was published in the July 2014 issue of Annals of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology.
