Day 7 — Random Acts of Kindness
Today's goal: Leave a few simple gifts for some unsuspecting people to find

Don’t you love the feeling you get when you put on a jacket you haven’t worn for a while and find money in the pocket? Or you dig to the bottom of your purse and stumble upon a gift card you had forgotten about? Most of us are wired to love unexpected gifts. Today our goal was to leave a few simple gifts for some unsuspecting people to find.
My son has been wanting to play tennis. Today was the day we decided to give it a try. On our way to the tennis courts we hatched a plan to include a little kindness in our outing.
Whenever I do this project I carry a number of little cards with me that say:
Pay it forward and have a beautiful day!"
We stopped and picked up some packs of gum on our way to the courts. We strategically placed them, along with the cards, on benches and tables throughout the facility. My son loves helping with these sorts of activities and it is always so much fun to watch him look for the perfect spot to leave a surprise. Our intention was for someone to find them and spark a little bit of that feeling you get when you receive an unexpected gift.
It would be a bonus of they chose to pay it forward and do something kind for someone else. Hopefully our gifts were found, smiles were created and maybe a few more acts of kindness were inspired.
