Day 39 — Give Someone a Free Lunch Using Rewards Points
Considering using your frequent visitor points and rewards cards to help others in need

Over the years I have signed up for a lot of frequent visitor and award clubs at restaurants and other establishments. Most of them will send something to you via email to celebrate your birthday. I thought it would be nice to use one of those offers to help someone else.
Jersey Mike’s recently sent me a coupon for a free meal. this year. Instead of getting that meal for myself, I redeemed the coupon and took the meal to a homeless person who needed it far more than I did. If felt good to offer someone a meal, instead of just handing them money. The man I gave the meal to was very appreciative and thanked me numerous times. It made me feel good to know he would eat today because I redeemed a coupon I was sent for free. Imagine how much good we could do if we all used our email offers and coupons to help others.
Perhaps, when your next birthday rolls around, you might consider sharing an offer you receive with someone in need. That’s one of the best gifts I can think of.
