Day 10 — A Ride to the Airport
Sometimes the small things for you do for someone make the biggest impact

One of my co-workers was going out of town this weekend on a guy’s golfing trip. He decided he would really rather not pay to leave his car in the parking garage all weekend. That meant he needed to find a solution to get from work to the airport. He was considering calling for an Uber but was concerned that our location was a little too out of the way for them.
It dawned on me that I could take a late lunch and run him to the airport. I would spread a little kindness and he would save some money. I offered, and he accepted. Off to the airport we went!
As we drove, we chatted about his trip, my own weekend plans and his adorable new kitten. He told me he appreciated the ride very much and I was glad to have done it. It was only an hour out of my day, but it made a big difference to him. Sometimes the small things for you do for someone make the biggest impact.
