RALEIGH

Admission for all City of Raleigh pools, except Buffaloe Road Aquatic Center, is $2 for residents and $3 for nonresidents ages 1-12; $4 for residents and $7 for nonresidents ages 13-54; $3 for residents and $5 for nonresidents ages 55 and older.

Monthly and annual passes are accepted at all facilities and are a cheaper option for families who plan to visit these pools throughout the summer. There is also a discounted punch pass good for 15 entries at all facilities. See Raleigh's Pools & Aquatic Facilities web page for more information.


Biltmore Pool

Features a baby pool, lap and recreation main pool, and 12-foot deep end.
Summer hours (June 8–Aug. 18): Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, 1-6 p.m.


Buffaloe Road Aquatic Center

Offers a lazy river, water vortex, three-story waterslide, water volleyball and water basketball. A toddler-friendly area features water toys, a water curtain and a slide. Due to recent staffing shortages these attractions may be closed or the schedule may be adjusted. 
Hours: Public swim is open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, 1-5 p.m. Check the website for hours of lap lanes, waterslide, vortex and current channel, which vary. Open year round. 
Admission: $4 for residents and $7 for nonresidents, ages 1-12; $8 for residents and $15 for nonresidents, ages 13-54; $6 for residents and $11 for nonresidents, ages 55 and older.

Millbrook Exchange Park features a year-round main pool and a summer season wading pool and spray ground. Children can work up a sweat before cooling off at the Millbrook Exchange Playground as well.
Summer hours for spray ground and wading pool (May 26-Sept. 2): Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sunday, 1-6 p.m. Recreational swim hours during the summer season are Monday-Saturday, noon-8 p.m.; Sunday, 1-6 p.m. Check website for lap lane times.


Optimist Pool

Includes spacious locker rooms and a classroom. Offers an Olympic-size swimming pool, a diving well with low and high diving boards, lap and recreational swimming, a large baby pool, and water exercise programs.
Summer hours for wading pool (May 26-Aug. 18): Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sunday, 1-6 p.m. Check website for open recreation swim, deep pool, lap and long course hours.
