Fantasy Lake Water Park

Offers a variety of slides, boats, a Tarzan swing, a kid-zone designed for ages 3-11 and adult attractions. Thrill-seekers will enjoy the diving boards and suspended chairs. Volleyball is available both in and out of the water.
Hours: Opening soon; check back for updates. Not open for Memorial Day Weekend.
Admission: $12 ages 3-6; $16 ages 7-11; $20 ages 12 and older; $10 ages 60+. Children ages 3 and younger are admitted for free. Season passes available.

Great Wolf Lodge
10175 Weddington Rd., Concord
Residential indoor water park featuring slides, rides and pools the whole family can enjoy, regardless of the weather. Also features an interactive MagiQuest game. Themed suites are available for one night or an extended stay.
Hours: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Admission: Free with purchase of hotel room. A limited number of day passes are now available. Buy your pass online and pick it up at the front desk.
Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park
5320 Oleander Dr., Wilmington
Features wet and dry activities for the whole family, including the Million Gallon Wavepool with ocean-sized waves; the Half-Pipe Waterslide; and activities for land lubbers like laser tag, go-karts and a rock wall.
Seasonal hours: 11 a.m-6 p.m., early June through late August.
