Description

After a shaded walk out to the creek entrance, take nets into the water to see some of these creek critters up close. Discuss some of the reasons it’s so important to keep these aquatic habitats clean and learn some tricks for catching crayfish, frogs, and salamanders. Ages 5 and older. Children younger than 5 may have trouble with the walk or rocky creek bottom; walking in the creek is option. Wear closed-toe shoes. Meet at the Turkey Farm Road Entrance.
