Autism Awareness Day
April 5, 2020
10:00 AM until 05:00 PM
Join the Museum of Life and Science and UNC TEACCH Autism Program as we celebrate neurodiversity in this day-long event! Many different community organizations will share resources and information about autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related sensory sensitivities. Enjoy quieter train rides and hands-on experiments in The Lab. Learn about the Museum’s cool-down spaces and ASD support materials, like noise-cancelling headphones, visual schedules, and activity systems. Explore and appreciate the uniqueness of our brains!
